The Ministry of Education in the Government of National Unity is preparing a national initiative to include the country’s basic education stage in international rankings.
Education Minister Mohammed Al-Quriyo held a meeting with experts and advisers to discuss how to measure education quality and assess sector performance, according to a ministry statement.
The talks focused on the technical steps needed to align Libya’s basic education system with global benchmarks, as part of efforts to develop the sector.
Participants also reviewed statistical data from the past academic year, aimed at building a reliable evidence base to support decision-making and better reflect conditions in schools.
