Morocco will be represented by Samy Hajji “dralii,” Anouar El Bouzidi “AnoriQ” and Marouane Biba “skyrix” at the Rocket League Esports Nations Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, while Rayane Bennani Smires “ray” has been named as substitute.
The Esports Foundation officially revealed the roster on Tuesday ahead of the tournament scheduled for November.
National team coach Andy “Kassio” Landais kept two key members from Morocco’s FIFAe World Cup 2025 squad, dralii and skyrix. However, Nassim “nass” Bali, who won the Boston Major with Gentle Mates earlier this year, will not represent Morocco.
Despite still being registered as a Moroccan player in the FIFAe Nations League, nass opted to play for the Netherlands, as previously confirmed to Sheep Esports.
His absence leaves Morocco without one of its strongest players, increasing the pressure on dralii, widely regarded as the team’s biggest star.
Morocco strategy
As a key player for the Moroccan squad, dralii is one of the leading names in global Rocket League. After a successful 2024 season where he won the World Championship with Team BDS, he continued his dominance into 2025 by claiming both the Birmingham Major and the Esports World Cup with Karmine Corp, earning MVP honors in both events.
Morocco will also rely on existing chemistry within the squad. AnoriQ, skyrix and ray already represented the country during the opening week of the FIFAe Nations League 2026: Africa, where they won the first stage.
Direct qualification
The Atlas Lions of esports secured direct qualification for the tournament’s main event without passing through the qualifiers. Qualification spots were determined through RLCS points earned during the season.
Morocco collected 83 points in total, including 78 contributed by dralii alone, placing the nation 20th in the global rankings and securing its place in Riyadh.
With an average age of only 19, Morocco’s young roster will face some of Rocket League’s biggest international teams when the competition begins on November 3.
