Colombian-Venezuelan designer Alejandro de los Reyes will be part of the official New York Fashion Week 2026 schedule, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion events. Based in Cartagena, the designer will unveil his latest haute couture collection on September 10 through the Runway 7 platform, which brings together emerging and established designers during New York Fashion Week.
The presentation marks another milestone in De los Reyes’ growing international career. Known for blending the elegance of haute couture with influences inspired by the Caribbean’s rich cultural heritage, the designer will showcase his work before buyers, fashion editors, industry professionals, and media from around the world, further highlighting Latin American talent on one of fashion’s biggest stages.
In addition to the collection itself, the runway show will feature a distinguished lineup of Colombian models, who will present the designs on the New York catwalk.

Runway 7 continues to strengthen its role as a platform for international talent
Alejandro de los Reyes’ presentation will take place as part of Runway 7, one of the platforms included in the Spring/Summer 2027 New York Fashion Week schedule, where dozens of designers introduce their latest collections to buyers, fashion journalists, celebrities, influencers, and industry leaders.
In recent years, Runway 7 has established itself as a key platform for independent designers and innovative brands, creating opportunities to reach international markets and expand their global presence.
For De los Reyes, participating in this edition represents an opportunity to strengthen his brand beyond Latin America while presenting a vision of haute couture inspired by contemporary sophistication and artisanal craftsmanship. The inclusion of an all-Colombian modeling team also reflects the growing visibility of Colombian talent at the world’s leading fashion weeks, where Latin American designers and models continue to earn greater international recognition.
