Libyan coastguard patrols have rescued 25 migrants from a boat off the coast north of Benghazi, authorities say.
The migrants, from Bangladesh and Sudan, were rescued at about 19:00 on Tuesday, according to the General Administration for Coastal Security.
The administration said its personnel provided humanitarian assistance and checked the migrants’ condition before taking them to a landing point in Benghazi, where they will be subject to further legal and humanitarian procedures by the relevant authorities.
