Central African Republic plans internet connection with South Sudan
The Central African Republic plans to launch a new network connection with South Sudan to reduce its digital isolation, Ecofin reported. The initiative reflects Bangui’s push to boost internet connectivity, as the country still lacks direct access to submarine cables. Adolphe Nicaise Samafou, chief of staff at the ICT ministry said the interconnection project will be led by the Central African Digital Development Agency (ACDD) alongside MTN.
