Business Centers Struck in Kyiv as Russia Escalates Drone Campaign
A Russian drone strike on Kyiv damaged a business center and an office building in the early evening of Thursday, Sept. 10.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote at 6:50 p.m. that a Russian drone hit a two-story office building in the capital’s Obolonskyi district, before issuing another update that a drone struck the roof of a four-story business center in the Solomyanskyi district close to 20 minutes later.

Casualty figures remain unclear at the time of publication.
Kyiv Post correspondents could confirm that powerful explosions were heard in the city center after local authorities issued a yellow drone warning at 6:31 p.m. under the country’s newly introduced two-tier siren system.
An all-clear green signal was issued at 7:07 p.m.
On Thursday morning, a gas station in Kyiv, belonging to the state-owned gas network Ukrnafta, was also attacked by a Russian drone. Available footage shows that it was a direct hit.
Three locals were injured in the attack, which came a day after rumored reports circulating on social media that Russia compiled a plan to strike around 20 gas stations in the capital.
Kyiv Post reached out to the government about the legitimacy of the rumored list but had not received a response at the time of publication.
