Brazil native, Tuskegee Airman to be honored with historical marker | News
CHARLESTON, Ill. — Brazil native and Tuskegee Airman Major Charles B. Hall will be honored with a historical marker at the corner of Fourth Street and Garfield Avenue in Charleston, Illinois, in an unveiling ceremony at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The event will celebrate Hall’s remarkable life and legacy while recognizing his historic connection to Eastern Illinois University and the Charleston community, according to a news release.
