Bahrain: Ready to Confront Iran’s Ongoing Attacks on Civilians

Manama — Bahrain affirmed Sunday its military readiness to defend against continued Iranian assaults targeting civilians in the kingdom.

In a statement, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force said Iran persists in its systematic hostile approach through missile and drone attacks against civilian areas.

The command noted that “with firm resolve and high combat readiness, Bahrain’s air defense systems intercepted and destroyed several treacherous Iranian aerial attacks on Sunday, July 12, 2026.”

It stressed that all units and weapons remain at the highest levels of preparedness to safeguard the nation.

Citizens and residents were urged to exercise caution, avoid approaching or touching suspicious objects left behind from the attacks, and report them immediately.

The statement highlighted that Royal Field Engineering units are fully prepared to handle such remnants safely, ensuring public protection.

It further underscored that deliberately targeting civilians and private property with missiles and drones constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

The General Command expressed pride in the advanced combat readiness and vigilance demonstrated by Bahrain’s forces, describing their mission as a sacred duty in defense of the homeland.
