The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has seen more than 1,500 people die from the Ebola virus during what African health officials are calling the fastest-growing outbreak they’ve ever seen. The latest data from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control confirms a total of 3,380 cases and more than 700 patients are hospitalised in isolation.
