Avolta has expanded its presence at Brasília International Airport into F&B after securing two 11-year contracts.
The agreements will see the retailer introduce Vista Corona and Johnnie Walker Bar in the airport’s domestic airside area, building on more than 15 years of operations at the Brazilian hub.
Johnnie Walker Bar will mark Avolta’s first hybrid retail and F&B concept in Brazil and will be located within the retailer’s main duty-paid store.
The concept will combine a premium bar and food offer with the surrounding retail space, allowing travellers to discover the Johnnie Walker brand, try selected food and beverage pairings and explore products before purchasing them in the store.
Vista Corona will bring the Corona brand into a dedicated F&B setting inspired by its nature-focused identity. The venue will offer a curated selection of food and beverages in the airport’s domestic departures area.
Brasília International Airport welcomed more than 15 million passengers last year.
Avolta Brazil CEO Gustavo Fagundes said: “These contracts extend our long-standing presence at Brasília International Airport into food and beverage. Through the introduction of Johnnie Walker Bar and Vista Corona, we are broadening the offer for travellers while further strengthening our partnership with the airport.
“The concepts reflect our commitment to creating differentiated experiences that combine retail, dining and engagement throughout the passenger journey.”
Brasília Airport Commercial Director Rogerio Coimbra added: “At Brasília Airport, we are constantly seeking ways to enrich the passenger experience. Avolta has been a valued partner for many years, and we are pleased to further strengthen this successful collaboration.
“The introduction of Johnnie Walker Bar and Vista Corona enhances our commercial offering with innovative dining and social concepts that respond to evolving traveller expectations and contribute to a more enjoyable airport journey.”
