The Armed Forces organised a number of specialised training courses for Malian personnel on protecting and securing important figures.
The step is part of the Egyptian Armed Forces’ efforts to strengthen military co-operation and exchange expertise with friendly countries across various military fields.
The courses were conducted at the Military Police Department and featured intensive physical fitness and self-defence training, alongside a series of theoretical lectures.
Participants also received training in first aid and life-saving procedures, as well as practical exercises covering the latest techniques and tactics of protecting and securing important figures, including mechanisms for responding to emergencies and threats.
The training also included standard and non-standard shooting exercises, in addition to a number of advanced, professional drills designed to hone participants’ skills and enhance their combat readiness.
At the conclusion of the courses, a number of trainees were honoured in recognition of their outstanding performance during the training period.
For their part, the trainees, expressed their appreciation for the Egyptian Armed Forces for their efforts throughout the courses and their keenness to enhance their combat capabilities, enabling them to carry out their assigned duties with greater efficiency and professionalism.
