CAIRO, 4 November 2025: Football fans are turning their attention to Abu Dhabi, which will host the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup from November 6 to 9.

The tournament will feature four clubs:

Al Ahly (Egyptian Premier League champions)

Zamalek (Egypt Cup winners)

Ceramica Cleopatra (League Cup champions)

Pyramids FC (league runners-up and Golden Card holder)

Prize Money Breakdown

According to media reports, the total prize pool for the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup is estimated at $700,000, distributed as follows:

Champion: $300,000

Runner-up: $200,000

Each participating team: $50,000

This marks the ninth edition of the tournament to be held in the UAE and the sixth time that Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host the final — promising a vibrant atmosphere and strong regional media attention.

The action begins on Thursday, November 6, with the semifinals, followed by the final on Saturday, November 9.

Withdrawal Penalties

The Egyptian Football Association’s Competitions Committee has set strict penalties for clubs that withdraw from the tournament:

If a club withdraws before official dates are announced, it faces a EGP 1 million fine and a one-year suspension.

If the withdrawal occurs after official dates are announced, the fine increases to EGP 5 million, with a two-year suspension from future editions.
