Alexis Tcheutchoua emerges as rising force in Cameroon’s music industry

A new name is generating significant attention in Cameroon’s entertainment industry: Alexis Désiré Tcheutchoua, the serial entrepreneur and founder of MEWAA Music.

Tcheutchoua is making a strong entrance with a vision aimed at reshaping the country’s music landscape. The buzz intensified after MEWAA Music unveiled its first headline signing, Soul Brova, whose new single “Déveloper,” featuring Cameroonian soul star Locko, was released on July 24. The collaboration has drawn widespread interest and placed both the artist and the label in the spotlight.

Industry sources say MEWAA Music is preparing to introduce a new generation of talent, with additional signings expected in the coming months. The label has indicated it has no plans to slow its momentum.
