Al-Jumhouriya Bank and Huawei discuss cooperation on digital transformation

Al-Jumhouriya Bank has discussed prospects for cooperation with Huawei Libya in the fields of digital transformation and technical infrastructure during a meeting held at the bank’s headquarters in Tripoli.

The talks brought together the bank’s General Manager and Huawei’s Regional Director for Libya as part of efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with leading global technology companies.

During the meeting, the bank’s management stressed the importance of benefiting from Huawei’s expertise, particularly in cloud solutions, artificial intelligence, 5G networks, and advanced technological equipment and software, to support the bank’s modernization strategy and digital transformation plans.

Meanwhile, Huawei expressed readiness to leverage its technical capabilities and experience to support Al-Jumhouriya Bank in building an integrated digital ecosystem and enhancing the skills of national personnel through specialized training programs.

The two sides also agreed to establish a joint working team to follow up on the implementation of agreed initiatives and develop a clear roadmap for the next phase, with the aim of achieving tangible results that enhance the competitiveness of Libyan institutions regionally and internationally.
