With just 24 hours to go before Morocco’s opening match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Airports of Morocco has launched a nationwide campaign titled «Let The Game Take Off».
According to a press release, the campaign features an animated comic-book-style film that draws a parallel between the Atlas Lions on the pitch and the airport personnel working behind the scenes to facilitate the travel of Moroccan supporters. It showcases the work of reception staff, operations teams, security personnel, maintenance crews and passenger assistance services.
The initiative also highlights the coordination between the National Airports Office (ONDA), the Ministry of the Interior, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the Royal Gendarmerie, the Customs Administration, and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics to ensure smooth and efficient travel conditions in line with international standards.
Beyond the World Cup, the campaign forms part of ONDA’s long-term strategy. It builds on the institution’s partnership with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), supports the mobility of Morocco’s national teams and serves as a stepping stone toward the 2030 World Cup, which Morocco will co-host alongside Spain and Portugal.
The campaign will be rolled out across television, radio, print, outdoor advertising and social media platforms. Through this initiative, Airports of Morocco seeks to position the country’s airports not only as transport hubs, but also as symbols of national pride and key contributors to Morocco’s international profile under its «Airports 2030» strategy.
