Ahmed Fresh praises standard of Niger Super League

Chairman of the Niger State Football Association, Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, has praised the quality of football on display in the ongoing 2025/26 Niger State Super League.

Speaking during an assessment of the competition at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna, Fresh commended the players and technical crews for their professionalism and commitment.

According to him, the tournament reflects the steady growth of football development in the state.

 “We are going to dominate the Nigeria National League and the Nationwide League One in the near future,” he said.

Fresh reiterated the association’s commitment to grassroots development.

 “The Niger State Football Association will continue to ensure active participation and encourage our grassroots potentials to excel,” he added.

He also urged teams to maintain discipline and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

“I urge the teams to continue in this spirit and show the world our credibility,” he concluded.
