Advantage rebrands to Sagicor General Insurance Jamaica

Advantage General Insurance Company has officially rebranded as Sagicor General Insurance Jamaica Limited, bringing more than six decades of experience under the strength and reach of the wider Sagicor Group.
“Since becoming a member of Sagicor Group Jamaica in 2019, Advantage General has continued to grow and deepen its integration within the Sagicor family. The transition reinforces its commitment to delivering stronger service, expertise and client care, while creating new opportunities to draw on the Group’s capabilities, strengthen market confidence and accelerate growth,” Sagicor stated in a news release on the weekend.
The company advised that while the name and visual identity will change, clients, brokers and partners can continue to rely on the products, service, and familiar teams throughout the phased transition
“For more than six decades, Advantage General has earned the trust of Jamaicans by being there when it matters most,” the release quotes Sagicor General Insurance Jamaica CEO Dave Morrison.
“Becoming Sagicor General Insurance Jamaica builds on that record. We are bringing our experience and relationships together with the strength, scale and resources of one of the Caribbean’s leading financial groups so we can serve our clients even better and create new opportunities for growth,” added Morrison.
Sagicor explained that the rebrand also supports a broader vision of strengthening alignment and collaboration across its regional operations, creating greater opportunities to leverage shared capabilities and deliver enhanced value.

The company said under its new name, “Sagicor General Insurance Jamaica Limited will continue helping clients protect what matters most, while drawing on the wider Sagicor Group to deliver more connected services and new opportunities for growth”.
