Acholi Sub-Region resorts to drought resistant seeds – NTV Uganda

Amuru District, like many parts of northern Uganda, has experienced prolonged dry spells that have destroyed crops and heightened the risk of food insecurity. Many farmers say they were caught unprepared, suffering significant losses and struggling to secure food. To mitigate the impact of such weather conditions, farmers in the district are now embracing climate-resilient seeds that can withstand erratic weather patterns.
