A summer feel to end the weekend

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The forecast is looking summerlike to close out the weekend. Meteorologist Cameron Aaron is tracking warm temperatures and isolated rain chances.

Sunday Forecast

It is a foggy start to your Sunday, but we should see some sunshine for the second half of your morning.

The first half of Sunday is looking dry and warm. Temperatures climb into the mid-and-upper-80s under a mix of Sun and clouds.

During the peak heating of the day, we are watching out for a few more of those random, pop-up showers and storms. It will not rain for everyone, but go ahead and pack the umbrella just to be safe.

The forecast is looking mainly dry and mild for Sunday night. Overnight lows settle in the low-60s.

Starting The Work Week

Rain chances are taking a dip for early next week as the summer heat continues.

Highs on Monday soar into the mid-and-upper-80s under a partly cloudy sky. A stray shower is possible to kick off the work week, but most are dry and warm. Lows fall into the upper-50s and low-60s.

Tuesday is looking very summerlike. We are mainly dry, mostly sunny and hot. Highs soar into the upper-80s, with lows in the low-60s.

Extended Forecast

We could see our next weather system for the middle of the work week and a few more showers.

Isolated showers are possible on Wednesday, but the rain chance is not super impressive. Highs hover in the upper-80s under a partly sunny sky. Lows fall into the mid-60s.

Scattered showers are looking possible on Thursday as we remain mild and partly sunny. Temperatures stay in the mid-80s, with lows in the upper-50s and low-60s.
