Letsoenyo Training With PSL Club As Decisio…

Former TS Galaxy left-back Solomon Letsoenyo has emerged as a potential option for Marumo Gallants, with the player confirming that he has been training with the club as he waits for a decision on his future.

The 28-year-old became a free agent after parting ways with TS Galaxy and is now assessing his next move, with Gallants among the clubs to have shown interest in his services.

Letsoenyo confirmed to the Siya crew that he has been training with Gallants and is awaiting the club’s decision on whether they will look to secure his services.

“I am training with Marumo Gallants and waiting for the club to make a decision,” Letsoenyo confirmed.

The development comes after the Siya crew previously reported that Orlando Pirates could also be an option for the former Galaxy defender, with interest in the player understood to exist.

“There was that option, but nothing happened, which is why I have since moved on and am now training with Marumo, as I have told you,” he said.

While the transfer window closed at midnight on Monday, Letsoenyo’s status as a free agent means he is not bound by the transfer deadline in the same way as a player contracted to another club.

His immediate future could therefore still be decided despite the closure of the window, with his spell at Gallants potentially providing an opportunity to remain in the Betway Premiership.

Letsoenyo spent three seasons with Galaxy after joining from Stellenbosch FC in 2023 and made 32 appearances across all competitions during the 2025/26 campaign.

He was also part of the Galaxy side that reached the Nedbank Cup final against Durban City in May, although his role changed towards the latter stages of the season, with the left-back on the bench for the club’s final four league matches.

With his experience in the topflight and availability as a free agent, Letsoenyo could provide Gallants with an option at left-back should the club decide to take their interest further.
