Virtus Bologna add Kevin Kokila on loan from Dubai Basketball
Virtus Segafredo Bologna (Serie A) add 24-year old Angolan international 204cm center Kevin Kokila on loan from recently signed Dubai Basketball for new season. He has played for the last four years at JL Bourg en Bresse in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 31 games he averaged 10.1ppg and 6.0rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the French Leaders Cup Semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to French League All-Star Game. Kokila also played 24 games in Eurocup where he had 8.2ppg and 5.3rpg. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com Eurocup Honorable Mention. Kokila has been regularly called to the Angolan Senior National Team since 2023.
He has played previously also in France (ASVEL Basket Lyon-Villeurbanne U21 team and Lyon) and France.
His team made it to the French Cup Final Four in 2025.
