Vaibhav Sooryavanshi took the field once again as India faced Zimbabwe in the third match of their three-game T20I series in Harare on Sunday.

In the first match, Sooryavanshi had put a difficult England tour firmly behind him, striking an 18-ball half-century that made him the youngest player ever to reach a fifty in international cricket.

That innings featured four sixes and four boundaries as he took apart Zimbabwe’s pace bowlers, offering huge relief after a tough run against England where his battle against Jofra Archer had gone almost entirely the pacer’s way.

Building on that momentum, Sooryavanshi looked to continue his good form in the second T20I, striking a quick 20 runs off just 9 balls before Richard Ngarava dismissed him in the third over.
