World Cup 2026: Morocco Secures $11 Million After Reaching Round of 32

Rabat – Morocco have secured $11 million in FIFA prize money after qualifying for the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Atlas Lions earned the reward after defeating Haiti 4-2 in their final Group C match. The game was played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, United States.

The victory helped Morocco finish second in Group C with seven points, behind Brazil. The team, coached by Mohamed Ouahbi, will now face the winners of Group F in the Round of 32.

The $11 million prize is part of FIFA’s prize money system for the 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The amount comes in addition to the $2.5 million participation fee that every qualified team received before the tournament.

FIFA’s prize money increases as teams progress in the competition. Teams that reach the quarterfinals will receive $19 million, while the 2026 World Cup winners will earn $50 million.
