Sandals reveals new dining concepts as Jamaica upgrades continue

MONTEGO BAY — Sandals Resorts has unveiled new food and beverage concepts set to debut across Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Caribbean Cay and Sandals South Coast as part of the company’s US$200 million transformation of the three Jamaica properties.

According to Sandals, the new offerings form part of a broader culinary evolution that places greater emphasis on local ingredients, island-inspired storytelling and immersive dining experiences designed to connect guests with the flavours and traditions of Jamaica.

Sandals South Coast is scheduled to reopen on Nov. 18, 2026. Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Caribbean Cay are slated to reopen on Dec. 18, 2026.

At Sandals Montego Bay, guests will have access to 11 dining options, including several new concepts.

The resort’s BLŪM coffee shop will serve Jamaica’s Blue Mountain coffee, while a new lobby bar will enhance the arrival experience.

Among the new venues is Bay Roc Rum Bar, which pays tribute to the former Bay Roc Hotel & Villas and will feature local artwork, memorabilia, vinyl records and themed cocktails inspired by Jamaican music from the 1950s through the 1970s.

Buccan, the family-style restaurant first introduced at Sandals Saint Vincent in 2024, will make its Jamaica debut. Located on the waterfront, the restaurant will showcase dishes inspired by Jamaica’s parishes through open-fire cooking and communal dining.

The new Parisol Beach Club will feature the brand’s first swim-up pool bar, a Jerk Shack and a made-to-order pizza counter, while Scrimshaw will specialize in seafood. Heart & Sol will offer smoothies and salads, and Tesoro will transition from global cuisine by day to Italian fare in the evening.

Returning favourites include Butch’s Island Chop House and Soy.
