Developments in Libya topped talks between Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, held on the sidelines of a four-party regional meeting hosted in Cairo.
According to a statement from Egypt’s foreign ministry, the discussions also covered developments in the Palestinian territories, Sudan, Syria and Lebanon, as well as the Iranian file and the situation in the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa.
The two ministers also explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on the challenges and developments facing the region.
Both sides affirmed their commitment to continued coordination and consultation on regional issues, in a way that supports security, stability and joint Arab action.
