Pear Orchard Neighborhood Association plans park cleanup

The Pear Orchard Neighborhood Association is hosting a park cleanup event, bringing members together in a unified effort to clean up their community.

Event goers will focus on Liberia Park, 2305 Ollie St., and Pear Orchard Cemetery from 8 a.m. to noon June 27.

The event gives residents a chance to meet their neighbors and care for shared spaces in the community.

Anyone who wants to support the Pear Orchard neighborhood can attend the cleanup. Attendees will pick up trash and debris to improve the appearance of the park and cemetery. Volunteers are encouraged to bring chairs, trash bags, water and any other supplies they may need.

The event is free, with food and drinks provided.
