Operating as a core subsidiary of state-owned energy giant Rosneft, the facility maintains a designated processing capacity of approximately 7 million tons of crude oil per year and serves as a primary fuel supplier for the Russian military’s occupational logistics.
The General Staff confirmed that the strike ignited a massive, multi-point structural fire across the refinery’s territory. While independent OSINT tracking and local footage previously indicated that a drone struck the plant’s vital isomerization unit, Ukrainian military officials noted that the full scale of the structural damage is still being evaluated.
Defense units successfully struck the Lazarevo linear production and dispatch station in Russia’s remote Kirov region. The facility is a crucial logistical node responsible for pumping crude oil through the massive Surgut-Gorky-Polotsk trunk pipeline.
