496 migrants return from Libya on voluntary return flights last week
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has announced that 496 migrants returned from Libya to their countries of origin on “voluntary return” flights last week.
The organization stated that it chartered three flights for this purpose. The first flight departed from Sabha, Libya, and returned 151 migrants to Cotonou, Benin, and Accra, Ghana.
The second flight carried 174 people and departed from Tripoli, Libya, bound for Islamabad, Pakistan.
