Rabat – The Yemeni Embassy in Morocco announced Sunday that 4 Yemeni citizens have safely returned after being reported missing during recent incidents at the Moroccan‑Spanish border.
In a press statement, the embassy said it received verified information confirming the return of the four, while efforts continue
alongside Moroccan authorities and the Yemeni community to determine the whereabouts of the remaining three.
The embassy stressed that follow‑up procedures are ongoing to ensure the safety of all nationals, urging anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist in accelerating search and monitoring efforts.
It also confirmed that the body of a deceased Yemeni citizen is currently being held at a Moroccan hospital, noting that coordination is underway with local authorities to complete legal procedures and arrange repatriation in accordance with applicable regulations.
The embassy reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Yemeni nationals in Morocco and pledged to provide updates through official channels as new information becomes available.
