When can children in Cameroon return to school?

Since 2020, every September 9 hasmarks International Day to Protect Education from Attack, a reminder that schools, students, and teachers are often targeted in conflict zones.

This year, we spotlight Cameroon’s English-speaking Northwest and Southwest Regions, where separatists and the government are in conflict and many parents are forced to keep their children out of school.
