Watch: The Bus barges through traffic

Julian Savea shrugs off Taniela Rakuro’s tackle en route for one of Moana Pasifika’s six tries against the Fijian Drua on Saturday in round 11 of Super Rugby Pacific.

The Savea brothers stamped their class as Ardie’s leadership and Julian’s clinical finishing powered Moana to a 34-15 victory at North Harbour Stadium.

Julian crossed for his 63rd Super Rugby try, inching closer to former Hurricanes teammate TJ Perenara’s all-time record of 65.

Ardie nearly produced the try of the season when the All Blacks star kicked for himself and re-collected, only for his effort to be chalked off for a mistake in the buildup.

Meanwhile, the 14-time champions Crusaders dismantled the Highlanders in a commanding 43-10 win in Dunedin.

Despite facing a territorial onslaught and making nearly 120 more tackles than their hosts, Rob Penney’s men stood their ground while Will Jordan orchestrated their attack with a sparkling double.

Skipper Codie Taylor added two tries of his own as the Crusaders maintained their impressive resurgence, leaving the Highlanders to rue their inability to convert 66% territory into meaningful points.

The Crusaders and Moana occupy second and seventh on the table, respectively, while the Highlanders (10th) and Drua (11) remain bottom-dwellers.
