Azule Energy, an Eni and BP joint venture, selected Vallourec to supply over 26,000 tons of seamless carbon steel line pipes for the Greater PAJ offshore development in Angola.
The contract spans roughly 210 kilometers of pipelines destined for production, service, gas export, and water injection networks. Shipments are scheduled to run from July 2027 through December 2027.
The ultra-deepwater project connects five distinct offshore fields located 200 kilometers offshore in water depths from 1,500 to 2,000 meters.
To withstand these harsh conditions, the ordered materials incorporate heavy thermal insulation coating, utilizing Glass Syntactic Polypropylene (GSPP) insulation up to 120 mm thick.
Chairman and CEO Philippe Guillemot expressed appreciation for Azule Energy’s trust, noting the deal reinforces Vallourec’s presence in Angola.
