US Exim Bank lends Africell USD 100 mln for investments in Angola
The US Export-Import Bank (Exim) has approved a USD 99.6 million direct loan for Africell to deploy American and European mobile network equipment across Angola. The financial support is expected to help advance American tech leadership in the region and establish secure pathways for future US and allied digital investments across sub-Saharan Africa, including the Lobito rail corridor connecting the African interior and Atlantic coast.
