In a market saturated with flagship phones boasting impressive cameras, Xiaomi doubles down on its Leica partnership with the new 15 Ultra, a device built for photography enthusiasts.

Under the hood, the 15 Ultra packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage, ensuring top-tier performance. Its massive 6,000 mAh battery outshines competitors like Apple, Google, and Samsung, while 90W wired and 80W wireless charging speeds deliver rapid power-ups. Notably, Xiaomi includes a power adapter in the box, a rarity in the US market.
The 15 Ultra features a stunning 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. Three distinct colour options are available: a white model with an etched back, a black variant with a textured finish, and the eye-catching Silver Chrome edition, inspired by classic Leica cameras. While the white model’s subtle design is appealing, the two-toned metal and black version truly embodies the phone’s photographic focus.
The rear camera module, a large circular design, houses a formidable array of lenses. The 23mm equivalent main camera utilizes a massive 1-inch 50MP Sony sensor, while a 50MP ultrawide lens captures expansive landscapes. The 15 Ultra also boasts two zoom lenses: a 50MP midrange shooter with a 70mm focal length and a 200MP periscope lens with a 100mm focal length, providing a 4.7x optical zoom.
