In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops eliminated Russian army mercenaries from Colombia and Zimbabwe. Foreigners make up 30% of the enemy’s new units.
This was reported on September 2 by the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstislav the Brave.
According to the brigade, most of them are from African or Latin American countries and were deceived into joining the ranks of the occupying army. However, by attacking our positions as part of that force, they become the enemy.

The latest foreign mercenaries from Colombia and Zimbabwe were eliminated by soldiers of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion “Fireflies” and the “Siverska Sich” Motorized Infantry Battalion.
