Sylla Gold (TSX-V:SYG) has completed preliminary geological modelling, confirming continuity across four gold prospects in Mali.
The modelling exercise covers the Niaouleni South, Libre Plateau, Kankou Moussa, and Goingoindougou prospects within the company’s 9,200-hectare Deguefarakole permit area at its 17,200-hectare Niaouleni Gold Project in southwestern Mali.
Independent Malian geological consulting firm Geo-Training Mali SARL completed the work by integrating all available drilling data, including the company’s reverse circulation (RC) and air-core drilling campaigns, as well as historical drilling by previous operators.
The mineralised zones at Niaouleni South, Libre Plateau, and Kankou Moussa occur within the same regional shear corridor that hosts Toubani Resources’ Kobada gold deposit, located approximately 6km north along strike.
To the southeast, Goingoindougou is interpreted as a separate mineralised body parallel to the main mineralised trend, with the mineralisation exhibiting ‘good continuity’, warranting follow-up infill drilling.
CEO Regan Isenor says that the independent confirmation verifies what their technical team believes is a “largely underexplored mineralised corridor situated within an emerging gold district”.
“What makes this particularly exciting is that […] despite the strong results generated from that limited drilling, substantial portions of the trend remain completely undrilled,” Isenor adds.
The mineralised corridor outlined in the study projects directly into the company’s Niaouleni West permit, which the company believes to be the largest gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly in the region.
Sylla submitted the licence renewal for the Deguefarakole permit in April 2026 and continues to work closely with the Government of Mali regarding renewal.
The geological modelling exercise is preliminary in nature and does not constitute a mineral resource estimate prepared in accordance with CIM Definition Standards or National Instrument 43-101.
