Student from Congo, outraged by Coca-Cola prices, left Belarus and promised to reveal the truth

From a complaint about Coca-Cola to a call from the police

Nathan’s story began with, at first glance, a normal video about prices. The guy was surprised that Coca-Cola, which used to cost about two rubles, had risen to five. The video quickly gained popularity, but soon, as the blogger himself claimed, he received a call from the police and was invited for a conversation.

After that, Nathan published an apology video, emphasizing that he did not intend to touch upon politics, but only reacted emotionally to the price increase. Later, he admitted that he feared the consequences, and even stated that law enforcement officers knew his address, contacts, and social circle.

“Everything is fine” — but not everyone believed

A few days later, the blogger re-emerged and reported that the conversation with law enforcement had gone smoothly, and there were allegedly no complaints about his video. He also noted that he loves Belarus and asked journalists not to use his story for political purposes.

Почти неделю я испытываю огромное давление со стороны СМИ! Это был огромный стресс для меня и моих близких! Люди используют меня, чтобы донести свои политические идеи! И это разбивает мне сердце Пожалуйста, перестаньте говорить об этой истории.

Nevertheless, some of the audience viewed these statements with distrust, assuming that the student might have been pressured.

Conflict with insurance and tens of thousands of rubles

Later, Nathan once again came into the spotlight — this time due to a conflict with “Belgosstrakh” (Belarusian State Insurance) and the owner of his rented apartment. According to him, after a fire in the apartment several years ago, he was demanded a large sum — about 110,000 rubles.

The guy claimed that he had already compensated for the damage but faced new financial claims, not understanding why the story continued three years later. Separately, he also reported problems with law enforcement agencies returning his passport.

New video after disappearance: “I’m no longer in Belarus”

After another wave of public outcry, the blogger disappeared from social networks for several months. It was only on May 4 that he published a new video, in which he announced that he was no longer in Belarus.

“Now that I am no longer in Belarus, I think I can explain everything without fear of them coming to me late in the evening again, as it happened last time,” Nathan stated.

So far, he has not revealed all the details of his departure, but promised to do so in upcoming videos. What exactly prompted the student to leave — fear, legal problems, or other reasons — remains an open question.
