Gore, one of South Africa’s richest individuals, holds a 7.19 percent stake in Discovery, amounting to 48,633,756 shares. In the past 21 days, his stake has gained R779.11 million ($42.9 million) as Discovery’s share price continues to climb on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).
This latest increase follows a $41.28 million gain between Feb. 3 and 11, when the value of his stake rose from R8.67 billion ($470.46 million) to R9.43 billion ($511.56 million). The steady rise reflects growing investor confidence in the company.

The rally has also added significantly to Adrian Gore’s wealth. The value of his stake in Discovery has grown by R779.11 million ($42.90 million) over the same period, increasing from R9.28 billion ($510.99 million) to R10.06 billion ($553.90 million).
