Sierra Leone and Morocco FA sign partnership agreement – Africa Top Sports

The Sierra Leone Football Association 𝐒𝐋𝐅𝐀 and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (𝐅𝐑𝐌𝐅) have signed a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation and promoting football development in both countries.

The agreement was signed today, Monday 17 August 2026, in Rabat, Morocco, by 𝐒𝐋𝐅𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐫. 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐑𝐌𝐅 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐳𝐢 𝐋𝐞𝐤𝐣𝐚𝐚.

Under the agreement, the two football bodies will collaborate in areas including 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬.

The partnership will also support the development of football infrastructure in Sierra Leone through the establishment of a technical training ground in a vulnerable community.

As part of the pact, the Moroccan Federation will host SLFA technical and administrative personnel for training and observation programmes and facilitate access to specialised sports injury hospital facilities.

The two federations also agreed to work together 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 involving senior and youth national teams for both men and women. The agreement will run for an initial period of two years and is renewable upon mutual agreement.
