Sare Demba Dado clasp 4th edition of MS Jallow peace tournament trophy

The Sare Demba Dado Boys defeated Sare Njobo 4-2 on post-match penalty shootouts after regular time failed to produce a winner in a tightly-contested final played at the Sare Njobo  Foot ball Field.

Despite an early disruption by the rain, the game went ahead.

 Sare Demba Dado and Sare Njobo both performed well and created goal scoring opportunities but failed to score thus the first half ended goalless.

Sare Njobo started the second half with intensity but Sare Demba Dado remained disciplined.

The Sare Njobo Boys created several goal scoring chances but their opportunities were denied by opposing goalkeeper thus the match ended goalless.

This pushed the match into post-match penalty shootouts, which ended 4-2 in favour of Sare Demba Dado.

As champions, Sare Demba Dado received a trophy, gold medals and a cash prize of D25,000, while Sare Njobo received silver medals and D10,000 as runners-up.

The final was witnessed by regional sports stakeholders, spectators and fans of both Sare Dado and Sare Njobo.
