The organizers of the Cordillera Festival announced the lineup for its 2026 edition, which will once again bring together some of the leading figures in Latin American music in Bogota. Ricky Martin, Andres Calamaro, Caifanes, and Beele headline the event, considered one of the most important music festivals of the year in the Colombian capital.

The festival will take place on September 12 and 13 at Simón Bolivar Park and will feature artists from different genres and generations from several Latin American countries. The lineup combines iconic names from Spanish-language rock and pop with performers from the urban, tropical, and alternative music scenes, maintaining the approach that has characterized the festival since its inception.

The 2026 edition will be headlined by Ricky Martin, one of the biggest stars in Latin pop worldwide. The Puerto Rican artist will return to Colombian stages as one of the festival’s main attractions, bringing a repertoire that has shaped several generations and includes some of the biggest hits in Latin music over the past decades.

Joining him is Andrés Calamaro, an undisputed icon of Spanish-language rock and a regular presence on the region’s biggest stages. The Argentine artist will share top billing with the legendary Mexican band Caifanes, considered one of the most influential groups in the history of Latin American rock.

Both embody the spirit that has defined the Cordillera Festival since its inception: celebrating the continent’s musical identity through artists who have left a profound mark on popular culture.

The lineup also includes Beéle, one of the most prominent names among the new generation of Colombian artists. The singer and songwriter has become one of the most successful figures in urban and tropical music in recent years, expanding the event’s generational reach and connecting with a young audience that continues to drive his international growth.

In addition to these artists, the lineup includes names such as Sean Paul, Kany García, Cultura Profetica, Grupo Niche, Andrés Cepeda, Miguel Mateos, Fobia, Panteon Rococo, Dread Mar I, Mägo de Oz, Los Amigos Invisibles, Draco Rosa, Diamante Electrico, and other bands and solo performers from different countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. Genre diversity once again stands out as one of the event’s defining characteristics, with pop, rock, reggae, salsa, urban music, and contemporary fusion styles represented.

Cordillera Festival 2026: another September gathering

The new edition of the festival will take place on September 12 and 13, 2026, at Bogota’s Simon Bolivar Metropolitan Park, a venue that has hosted the event since its earliest editions and has become one of the main hubs for major music performances in the Colombian capital.

The organizers have already launched ticket sales and expect strong demand due to the appeal of the announced lineup. As in previous years, attendees are expected to arrive from different regions of Colombia and other Latin American countries, drawn by an artistic proposal centered on Spanish-language music and the sounds that define the region.

General public ticket sales begin tomorrow, Thursday, June 11, at 10:00 a.m. local time through the Ticketmaster platform.

The lineup announcement has generated a strong reaction on social media, where thousands of fans celebrated the presence of historic figures from Latin rock and pop, as well as the inclusion of contemporary artists who represent the evolution of the music industry in Latin America.

A festival created to celebrate Latin American identity

The Cordillera Festival debuted in Bogota in 2022 with a proposal that differed from other major music gatherings in the region. While many festivals focus their attention on English-language artists, Cordillera was created with the goal of championing Latin American music and providing a space where the sounds of the continent would be the undisputed protagonists.

Since then, the event has brought together some of the most important figures in Spanish-language music. Artists such as Juan Luis Guerra, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Residente, Cafe Tacvba, Ruben Blades, Hombres G, and numerous leading performers from different generations and musical genres have participated in its various editions.

Over the years, the festival has evolved into one of the leading showcases for Latin American music. Its growth in attendance, media impact, and cultural relevance has positioned it among the most important events on Colombia’s music calendar.

Each edition has reinforced an identity built on the diversity of rhythms, the shared nostalgia of multiple generations, and a commitment to new talent that continues to renew the regional music scene.

The 2026 edition appears set to continue that trajectory. With Ricky Martin, Andres Calamaro, Caifanes, and Beele leading a lineup that brings together established and emerging artists, the Cordillera Festival once again presents a celebration of Latin American music that aims to turn Bogota, once more, into the continental capital of major concerts during a September weekend.
