Orange Sierra Leone has launched a new Scam Alert tool aimed at helping customers report suspected fraud and protect themselves against scams and other fraudulent activities.
The tool allows customers to report suspected scams and check for potential fraud through a dedicated USSD service by dialling *505#. Customers can also report fraud through Orange Sierra Leone’s online reporting channel or call 111 for assistance.
The launch brought together Orange Sierra Leone’s chief executive officer, directors, cybersecurity team, media partners and other stakeholders, highlighting the company’s efforts to strengthen customer protection and combat financial fraud.
