New date set for Sundowns vs Sekhukhune clash

The PSL has announced a new date for a Nedbank Cup quarterfinal match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United.

The two teams were initially scheduled to play each other in early March but the game had to be postponed.

And this was due to the unavailability of Lucas Moripe Stadium who had hosted a game involving the South African U17 women’s team.

The rest of the quarterfinal matches went ahead as planned, and the draw for the semifinals was also conducted.

Now, the league has confirmed that this fixture between Sundowns and Sekhukhune United will be played on Friday, 28 March at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Kick-off is at 19:00.

The winner of the encounter will face Kaizer Chiefs in the semifinals of this year’s Nedbank Cup.

The league, in a statement, further released ticketing information to fans who would like to attend this encounter.
