Mariyam Lorba Konneh Crowned Miss World Sierra Leone 2026

Mariyam Lorba Konneh has officially been crowned Miss World Sierra Leone 2026, earning the honour of representing her country at the 75th Anniversary edition of the Miss World Festival, scheduled to take place in Vietnam. Her crowning marks the beginning of a new chapter as she prepares to carry Sierra Leone’s hopes onto the international stage.
A former Miss University Sierra Leone, Mariyam is a media personality, entrepreneur and humanitarian. She is currently pursuing a degree in Banking and Finance at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone. She is also the founder and CEO of Mariyam’s Ways, a platform focused on youth empowerment, women’s wellbeing and storytelling, and has been recognised among the 50 Most Influential Women in Sierra Leone.

With her advocacy centred on empowering women and young people through education, entrepreneurship and community development, Mariyam now sets her sights on the Miss World stage. As Miss World Sierra Leone 2026, she will represent her nation at the global pageant in Vietnam, joining contestants from across the world in the pursuit of the coveted blue crown.
