Libya condemns Israeli attacks in Palestinian territories

Libya’s Foreign Ministry has condemned Israeli attacks and violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, including raids on Palestinian homes and businesses.

In a statement, the ministry rejected what it called systematic racist campaigns against Palestinians. It said settler attacks on Palestinian land and property, and the raising of the Israeli flag over several mosques under the protection of Israeli occupying forces, violated international law and human rights.

The ministry called on the international community to take action to stop the attacks and protect Palestinians. It reaffirmed Libya’s support for the Palestinian cause and for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East al-Quds as its capital.
