Kaizer Chiefs management unhappy with Nasreddine Nabi!

Kaizer Chiefs executives are unconvinced by Nasreddine Nabi’s season, so much so that some are considering whether to fire the Tunisian tactician.

Over nine months into his rein, it didn’t take long for the 59-year-old to experience some public scrutiny after AmaKhosi slumped to the bottom half of the table late last year.

After twenty league games, Kaizer Chiefs are seriously considering what to do about Nabi.

“It’s getting hard and tougher for the management team now,” SoccerLaduma reported

“It’s believed that they thought by now the results would have started to show as the coach came with high expectations, but things are not working according to plan,

“Apparently, that’s what is not making them happy. They don’t just want the team to play well. No. They want results and so far they have lost to the all so-called big teams,” the publication reported.

“That’s the other reason why management is not happy so as they feel they have given him enough time to show what he can do for the team. They think and believe that they have a great squad which can easily compete and be up there among Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates,

“Because they are failing to do that, it’s why management is dissatisfied and unhappy with the results and the coach right now.”

Chiefs’ new target

Kaizer Chiefs are eager to sign an out-and-out attacker with the likes of Michael Olunga and Fiston Mayele on top of their radar; however, recent reports suggest that they’re now leaning towards Young Africans frontman Prince Dube:

“The club [Kaizer Chiefs] is evaluating the realistic chances of signing a striker, and as things stand, Prince [Dube] looks the most promising option,

“The other strikers they have been eyeing, such as Michael Olunga and Fiston Mayele, appear difficult to secure, which is why attention has shifted to Dube. He’s also performing well for Yanga at the moment,

“There are other positions the club wants to reinforce. But the striker and left-back positions are at the top of the agenda. The striker they are currently focusing on is Prince Dube from Yanga in Tanzania.”

Should Kaizer Chiefs fire Nabi and sign Dube?
