Kaizer Chiefs look to Sundowns star to form dream midfield

Kaizer Chiefs are expected to make some big moves in the upcoming transfer window.

The Glamour Boys are desperate to start competing with rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, after falling well short this season once again.

In a bid to give Nabi a squad capable of competing for league honours, management have identified a number of key new signings.

According to the latest transfer gossip, Kaizer Chiefs are keeping close tabs on Sipho Mbule’s situation at Mamelodi Sundowns.

The talented midfielder who’s currently out on loan at Sekhukhune United appears to be a top target at Naturena, as per Soccer Laduma.

If everything goes according to plan for Kaizer Chiefs, they could also welcome Bafana Bafana midfielder Yaya Sithole.

Nasreddine Nabi could be blessed with the opportunity of fielding Sithole, Thabo Cele and Sipho Mbule in what would be a dream midfield trio!

Chiefs reignite interest in Bafana Bafana star

According to local publication Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs are keen on signing Portuguese based Bafana Bafana midfielder Yaya Sithole.

The 26-year-old who’s currently on the books of Gil Vincente will be a worthy addition to Nabi’s squad.

Sithole, with his incredible physicality and vision, will complement the likes of Thabo Cele, Yusuf Maart and Njabulo Blom in the middle of the park.

“It’s not about confidence, but the process is a scientific process designed in steps,” Nasreddine Nabi said as per FARPost.

“And when you understand or when you see where you are and what you need for the future…

“For example, when you have the assimilation of the modern game and players have assimilated everything about your ideas, then it’s just about time to get where you want to be.

“Teams like Kaizer Chiefs sometimes get in tough spaces. Let’s say they get ill, but they never die. It’s just a matter of time before they wake up.”
