Google Pixel 9a leaks as YouTubers post early reviews
The Pixel 9a’s release appears imminent, with early reviews surfacing from YouTubers The Mobile Central and Sahil Karoul. These reviews confirm a wealth of previously leaked information about Google’s upcoming budget phone.

Visually, the Pixel 9a departs from the traditional camera bump, opting for nearly flush rear cameras. The aluminium frame and front display, while reminiscent of the Pixel 9, feature a lower-resolution 6.3-inch 1080p display and slightly larger bezels.
A key selling point of Pixel phones, particularly the “a” series, is their camera and AI capabilities. The reviews confirm the Pixel 9a’s use of the Tensor G4 chip, along with a 48-megapixel wide and 13-megapixel ultrawide camera setup. Photography performance is reportedly comparable to the Pixel 9, though nighttime video quality appears to be less impressive. The device is rumoured to launch in “Iris” (light purple), “Obsidian” (black), “Peony” (hot pink), and “Porcelain” (white) finishes, with the reviews showcasing the purple and white models.
