Google is reportedly set to unveil its new Pixel 10 series and the Pixel Watch 4 at a “Made by Google” event on August 13th, 2025. The new handsets are expected to hit stores a week later, on August 20th. This launch date was initially tipped by leaker @MysteryLupin and subsequently corroborated by Android Headlines, which added details about retail availability.

This year, Google is anticipated to release four Pixel 10 smartphone models: a standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and a Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Pixel Watch 4 is also highly likely to be announced at the same event.

Leaks have already revealed significant details about the Pixel 10 lineup. The base Pixel 10 model is expected to finally feature a triple-camera setup, including a telephoto lens, though it may involve some camera quality trade-offs compared to its higher-end siblings. The Pro models, including the Fold, are rumoured to see fewer radical changes, with near-identical camera hardware and designs to last year’s models. Instead, these devices will lean heavily on an upgraded Tensor G5 chipset and advanced AI features to entice existing Pixel users to upgrade.

For the Pixel Watch 4, leaked renders suggest a thicker design, potentially indicating a larger battery capacity. Google has also reportedly refined the watch’s charging technology and added a couple of new, as-yet-unidentified buttons. The Pixel Watch 4 is also expected to mark the debut of Google’s Gemini AI assistant on its smartwatches. Across all new Pixel devices, users can anticipate the refreshed, youthful Material 3 Expressive design language on the software side.

It’s worth noting that last year’s Pixel 9 series also launched on August 13th. However, those phones had a slightly longer wait before going on sale, with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold not arriving for nearly a month after its announcement. This year’s quicker retail availability suggests a more streamlined release strategy for Google’s new hardware.
