Gambia to know contenders for WAFU- A U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers today
The Gambia U-17 team are set to know their opponents for the 2026 WAFU A CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers today, Thursday, 19th August 2026.
The balloting for the continent’s cadet biggest football showpiece qualifiers will be held in Dakar, Senegal, at 2pm.
The Gambia U-17 team will be praying to avoid Senegal, Mali and Guinea Conakry during the balloting for the 2026 WAFU-A CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The 2026 WAFU-A CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers is expected to begin on 7th September 2026 and finish on 20th September 2026.
It could be recalled that The Gambia U-17 team were eliminated in the group phase of the 2025 WAFU-A CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after finishing third-place in Group A with 4 points in three group matches.
